What does Dermatude do?

Dermatude combines both aspects: natural skin improvement from the inside out and externally applied active ingredients by means of special serums. These serums called subjectables contain Vitamins A, C & E plus hyaluronic acid and enter the top layer of the skin through ultra-thin needles creating painless, micro perforations in the skin.

The skin under the wrinkle is activated and the connective tissue fills the wrinkle from the inside. Again, this is a 100% natural process and the skin itself fills the wrinkle from within. There are no fillers injected to nerves or muscles blocked.

What age is this treatment most suitable for?

We have clients using Dermatude in their 30s as prevention, but the majority of our Rejuvenate’s clients are post 40.

Is the treatment completely safe?

100% Safe, 100% Natural.

The advanced digital device with precision hand piece and patented modules guarantee optimal results without risk of skin damage or scarring. For the best safety and hygiene, all modules are single use only and disposable. The safety membrane inside the modules prevent cross contamination. Does the Dermatude treatment hurt?

Not really. Mild discomfort maybe felt in more sensitive areas. The inclusion of the mask is highly recommended to soothe and further nourish the skin to optimise anti ageing benefits.

Do you need multiple treatments to see results?

You will see results after one treatment, but a course of 8 is the optimum.

How long is a course of treatment?

A typical course is 8 treatments. The first 4 sessions booked weekly, and the remaining 4 sessions once a fortnight.

Do you need maintenance treatments following a course?

To maintain and improve your results we would recommend a Dermatude top up treatment once every 4-6 weeks post course.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment itself is actually quite short c10 minutes, but we allow time to make clients comfortable and relaxed and prepare the skin as appropriate pre and post treatment.

Should I wear make up to my treatment?

It’s optional. If you arrive with make up on for your appointment, your therapist will ensure it is fully removed prior to treatment.

What should I do before my treatment?

We would recommend:no alcohol the night before and not to take any blood thinning, or anti inflammatory medication 2 days prior to treatment. If this is not possible please discuss first with your Therapist.

Is there any down time afterwards?

Most of our clients return to their normal days schedule immediately post treatment. Your skin may look moderately sunburned following the procedure and you will not be able to wear make up. Always adhere to the aftercare advice.

Is there any aftercare required post treatment?

Yes. For the first 24 hours:

Do not touch the treated area unless your hands are clean
Do not apply false tan
No make up, perfume or lotions on the area
Avoid direct sunlight
Do not use saunas or steam rooms
Avoid excessive exercise which may cause sweating
Do not have a hot bath or shower until any redness has subsided
Avoid shaving that area
Avoid smoking for as long as possible to avoid toxins

Your therapist will give you further advise post treatment, including for you to use cooled boiled water to clean the treated area on the first night and will give you some cream to apply afterwards.
